Dr. Tammy Nguyen

Dr. Tammy Nguyen (Lic #1249) is a therapeutic optometrist and a 2001 graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO). She is board certified in treating ocular diseases and conditions of the eye in addition to other primary care optometry services such as contact lenses and binocular vision. Dr. Nguyen grew up in sunny southern California, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in psychology from the University of CA Irvine. After volunteering for a local optometrist, she decided to make optometry her career. Dr. Nguyen’s education at SCCO provided her with the most up-to-date diagnostic techniques and treatment plans for a wide range of patient needs. During numerous internships throughout southern California and Arizona, she treated patients in a variety of settings, including VA hospitals and Indian health hospitals. After graduating from optometry school, she began practicing in a private practice in California. After relocating to Tucson, Dr. Nguyen joined the eye care family at Fashion Eye in 2003 and is now the full-time optometrist at our Oracle office. She is currently a member in good standing of the Southern Arizona Optometric Society. Dr. Nguyen enjoys the challenges of private practice and the personal interaction with her patients. She and our staff strive to live up to our mission statement to develop long-term relationships with patients by delivering professional care in a pleasant environment.
