Dr. Barry Blonder
Barry D. Blonder is one of the best and a trusted Tucson eye doctor with over 30 years of experience in optometry services. Dr. Blonder was born in Chicago, IL. He moved to Indianapolis, IN. where he attended high school and graduated from Manuel High School in 1968. In the fall of 1968, he enrolled at Indiana University where he graduated with a BS in 1972 and an OD from the School of Optometry in 1974.
Immediately after graduation Dr. Blonder entered the US Army as an optometrist in the Army Medical Corps. He served two years at Martin Army Hospital at Ft. Benning, GA. After his honorable discharge, he and his family (wife and two sons) moved to Tucson, AZ where he took a position with Dr. Gary Simpson as an optometrist at Sears. Dr. Blonder worked briefly for Dr. Simpson then opened his own practice.
His Broadway eye center location opened in October 1978 at 6151 E. Broadway. In 1985 he moved to a larger space in the same center and still practices at 6159 Broadway today. He also has a second location at 7043 N. Oracle Rd. in the Casas Adobes Plaza.

Dr. Robert Iverson
Dr. Robert Iverson is an optometrist at Fashion Eye Center in Tucson, AZ. He graduated from the University of North Dakota Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2000. He received his Doctor of Optometry with highest honors from Pacific University in Oregon in 2004. During his time in optometry school, Dr. Iverson completed numerous internships treating a variety of patient needs ranging from primary eye care to vision therapy to ocular disease. That wide range of experience has proved invaluable. After graduating from Pacific University, Dr. Iverson relocated to Tucson, AZ and has been serving the community as a dedicated Tucson eye doctor since that time. Dr. Iverson strives to provide his patients with the best possible care on each and every visit. His main interests in optometry are contact lenses and primary eye care, including disease management. When he isn’t practicing optometry, Dr. Iverson enjoys spending time with his wife Amanda and his two young children Emma and Evan. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys hiking and the outdoors.
